The Focus of This Lesson is Learning How to Use the Prepositions "at," "on" and "in" For Time
"It was on February 1st."
In this lesson, you will learn how to:
- Use the preposition "at"
- Use the preposition "on"
- Use the preposition "in"
1. How to use the preposition "at"
We can use "at" for time. If we want to say when something will
happen and use a time, such as "3 o'clock," then we would say "at 3
o'clock."
The preposition "at" should go before the time—"at 5 o'clock." There
are a few ways to make a sentence using "at [time]." The most common
pattern is
[action] at [time]
For example, "I eat at 7 a.m."
You can also say "At 7 a.m, I eat" but this pattern is not used as much.

| At 1 o'clock I need to go to the shop before 1 o'clock |
